Policies, Terms & Conditions

Price Matching (iPhone & iPad Repair) 
We do not offer a price match on repairs, because we have found that in the great majority of instances, that we use higher quality, more expensive replacement parts than our competitors. However. and we can’t stress this enough, we highly recommend that all consumers do their due diligence and call other repair & consulting facilities to see if there is a better price available. Some consumers may not care so much about the quality of the part that is being installed on their computer or device, and we respect that. So please call around. We encourage it!

Discounts, Coupons & Promotions
At any time, only one (1) discount, coupon or promotion can be used per person, per visit. This applies to all website coupons or promotions, (this includes Yelp, Google, Groupon or any other website), as well as any verbal promotions. It is the customers choice which discount or promotion that they would like to use at the time of purchase, but only one is allowed.

Device Repair Policies
Under no circumstances will UberMac offer a refund or free warranty replacement on any cracked or broken glass claim that is returned to our stores.

Any iPhone or iPad brought in for any repair the requires us to remove a screen/digitizer for any reason, that is equipped with a screen protector of any kind, disposable or reusable, will be destroyed and discarded during the repair. It is the customers responsibility to remove any film or protective screen accessory before the repair has begun if they would like to keep the protective film for later use.

Refund or Exchange Policy

Retail Accessories (Cases, Cables, Headphones, etc…)
All retail accessories can be exchanged or returned within 7 days of purchase. Items must include retail packaging in good condition. If packaging is damaged there will be a 15% restocking fee.

Original Receipt
You can ONLY receive a refund or exchange if you bring the original receipt.

For undamaged used items or undamaged items that have been opened (if the item was in a package) then you will receive either a refund of the purchase price less a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price (unless the restocking fee is prohibited by law) or you can exchange the item and receive a credit of the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee as long as you (i) bring the item back ONLY to the store where you purchased the item; (ii) within 7 days of the purchase of the item; (iii) with the original receipt. If you choose to exchange the item(s) for a more expensive item than the item(s) you had originally purchased, then you would owe the difference in price, and if you choose to exchange the item(s) for a less expensive item than the one you had originally purchased, then you will receive a refund for the difference. Any applicable restocking fee will not apply if you choose to exchange the item for another item of equal or greater value.

Promotional Items and Bundles
As a benefit to our customers, iPhoneFix occasionally offers promotional items and savings with a purchase or enhanced savings on a bundle of items when they are purchased together.

When a promotional item is returned, the value of the promotional item is deducted from the refund amount. For instance, if you purchase an iPhone case and get 50% off a car charger, the total value of the car charger would be subtracted from the refund.
When an item included as part of a promotional bundle is returned, the bundled discount is void and the value of the bundled discount will be applied to the refund. This occasionally results in additional funds being owed to us. For instance, if you receive $20 in savings when you purchase an Otterbox case and a car charger together, and you return either item, the $20 amount will be subtracted from your refund.

Limited Warranty
What Does This Limited Warranty Cover? This limited warranty covers defects or shipping damages to products which are purchased by consumers. This limited warranty is extended to consumers and end users only.

How Long Does The Coverage Last? This limited warranty lasts for FOURTEEN DAYS after the date that you receive the product. There is no limited warranty coverage after this fourteen (14) day period.

What Does This Limited Warranty NOT Cover?
Items that have been damaged through customer use or abuse may not be returned or exchanged. Consumable items such as batteries as well as items that are missing accessories (such as cords or cables) and, additionally, etched or otherwise personalized items may not be returned or exchanged. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH ARE REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW TO BE EXTENDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, SHALL HAVE A DURATION OF ONLY SEVEN (7) DAYS AFTER YOUR RECEIPT OF THE PRODUCT. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties so the above limitation may not apply to you. ALSO, CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT RECOVERABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion on limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

A restocking fee of $4.95 applies to any return you make, unless the item is defective, was damaged in shipping, you received the wrong item, or the fee is prohibited by law. The restocking fee will also not apply if you choose to exchange the item for another item of equal or greater value. The restocking fee, when charged, is only charged one time regardless of the number of items that are being returned at that specific time.

How Does State Law Apply? The limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Refund Method
Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original payment.

Credit Card or Debit Card: When the item was purchased with a credit card or debit card for more than $100, you will receive a refund for the purchase price less the restocking fee (when applicable). The refund will be credited back to the credit card or debit card used at the time of making the purchase within 10 business days of your return. When the item purchased is under $100 then you will receive a refund at the time of making the return for the purchase price less the restocking fee (when applicable) on the credit card or debit card used at the time you made the purchase.

Cash: When the item was purchased with cash for more than $100, you will receive a refund for the purchase price less the restocking fee (when applicable). The refund will be in the form of a check which will be mailed to you within 10 business days of your return. When the item purchased is under $100 then you will receive a refund at the time of making the return for the purchase price less the restocking fee (when applicable) in the form of cash.
